Saribadyasavam (Sarivadyasava) is useful in urinary and renal disorders. It increases urine flow. It reduces burning sensation occurring during urination. It improves functions of kidneys and increases elimination of toxins in the urine. It also increases excretion of uric acid, urea, and creatinine. In such cases, it is used in combination with Punarnavarishta and Chandraprabha Vati. It is also useful in urinary tract infections in which it is used along with Chandanasava and Chandanadi Vati.
