VENKARA MATHIRAI;

Verkara Mathirai is a Classical Siddha medicine in tablet form, It is used in the treatment of urinary tract disorders. Reference of Vengara Parpam: Siddha Vaidhiya Thirattu. Brahmamuni Karukkadai – 300.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Verkaram - Sodium Tetraborate  -  it may increase calcium integration into cartilage and bone, strengthening these structures in the body. and external use for wounds and ulcers.

Piper longum -is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.

Piper nigrum -  increasing urination to relieve water retention (as a diuretic). They also use it to treat a certain parasitic infection in the intestines called amoebic dysentery. Other uses include treatment of intestinal gas, gonorrhea, and cancer. Some people take it for loosening mucus.

Zingiber officinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.

Saindhava lavana and rock salt are some of the other names for it. In Ayurveda, an Indian alternative medicine system, Sendha namak is highly regarded. Rock salts provide several health benefits, including the treatment of colds and coughs, as well as assisting digestion and vision.

Croton tiglium - croton seeds to treat gallbladder problems, colic, blocked intestines, and malaria. Croton seeds are sometimes applied directly to the skin for muscle and joint pain (rheumatism), gout, nerve pain (neuralgia), and bronchitis.

Caesalpinia crista contains alkaloids, cassane-diterpenes, flavonoids, nor-cassane diterpenes, proteins, saponins, triterpenoids, etc. Root, stem, leaves and seed are used as anthelmintic, anti-inflammation, analgesic activity, antioxidant, anti-tumour, anti-malarial ;

Ferula asafoetida - is used in modern herbalism in the treatment of hysteria, some nervous conditions, bronchitis, asthma and whooping cough. It was at one time employed in the treatment of infantile pneumonia and flatulent colic. The gum resin is antispasmodic, carminative, expectorant, laxative, and sedative.

Terminalia chebula - is a magical remedy that holds high significance in treating countless health problems including indigestion, gastritis, lung disease, obesity, impotence, cough, cold, asthma, vision defects, urinary tract infections and hair, and skin problems.

Magnate - used in the treatment of acidity, stomach ulcer, bloating, anemia other blood related diseases.

INDICATIONS;

It is useful for Mooththira kaduppu/ mooththira krichcharam [painful micturition]

It is useful for Neerkaduppu

It is useful for Neerkattu [retention of urine]

It is useful for Neeradaippu [stranguria /urinary obstructions]

It is useful for Burning sensation of body 

It is used to treat constipation [Malakattu]

It is used to treat Soolai [ colic]

It is used to treat Vadha diseases

It is used to treat Envagai Gunmam[ Gastritis/ Peptic ulcer]

It is used to treat Andavatham [scrotal swelling]

It is used to treat Pandu [anemia]

It is used to treat oedema, 

It is used to treat  hand and foot diseases

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

 Take 1-2 tablets twice daily with  ghee, tender coconut water after food, or as directed by the physician.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS;

Avoid salts, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, sasban, Pagal, non-veg foods, and tobacco.
