DHAWANTHARAM KASHAYAM

 Dhawantharam Kashayam is an Ayurvedic classical medicine. It contains Yava, Kola, Kulatha, etc. acts as effective herbs in the treatment of disorders related to the skeletal, muscular, and nervous system. The diseases caused by vitiated Vata including flatulence, arthritic disorders, paraplegia, hemiplegia, facial palsy, hernia, muscular atrophy, spasm, etc are treated effectively with the apt dosage of Dhanwantaram Kashayam as per the prescribed period of time. For best results, strict diet restriction has to be followed to avoid complications which in turn might delay the cure. Foodstuffs that cause vitiation of Vata must be avoided as per physician advice. It is widely accepted as the best uterine tonic, especially for women during the postnatal period. Apart from strengthening the uterine muscles, the medicine provides nourishment to the entire reproductive system and acts as a general tonic for women, proceeding delivery.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Aegle marmelos -  possesses antidiarrhoeal, antimicrobial, antiviral, radioprotective, anticancer, chemopreventive, antipyretic, ulcer healing, antigenotoxic, diuretic, antifertility, and anti-inflammatory properties, 

Gmelina arborea -  vertigo, inflammation, Vata disorders, pain, piles, fever, heat, and toxins. It manages anemia, constipation, Vata-pitta disorder, thirst as it is cold in Potency with detoxifying properties. It is good for body heat, epistaxis, and emaciation.

Premna serratifolia - is anti-inflammatory, stomachic, and antipyretic, and is prescribed in liver complaints, cold, obstinate fevers, flatulence, urticaria, rheumatism, and neuralgia. The roots of the plant are constituent of Ayurvedic medicine 'Dashamula' and used for various ailments.

Steriospermum coalis -is anti-inflammatory, anti-asthmatic, antiemetic, and febrifuge. It is a biliary, stimulant, cardiotonic, diuretic and used in piles and nervous disorders.

Oroxylum indicum -  prevention and treatment of several diseases, such as jaundice, arthritic and rheumatic problems, gastric ulcers, tumors, respiratory diseases, diabetes, and diarrhea, and dysentery, among others.

Solanum anguivi - are carminative and expectorant useful in coughs, catarrhal affections, dysuria, colic, nasal ulcers, ingredient of Dasamula, asthma, difficult parturition, toothache, cardiac disorder, worm complaints, spinal guard disorder, nervous disorder, and fever.

Solanum xanthocarpum -used for the treatment of many infectious and degenerative diseases in traditional ;

Desmodium gangeticum - is used as a tonic, febrifuge, digestive, anticatarrhal, antisemitic, in inflammatory conditions of the chest and in various other inflammatory conditions 

Pseudarthria viscida -is useful in a vast range of diseases. It is used in the treatment of asthma and nerve dysfunction.

Tribulus Terrestris -is used for kidney problems, including kidney stones, painful urination, a kidney disorder called Bright's disease, and as a “water pill” (diuretic) to increase urination; for skin disorders, including eczema (atopic dermatitis), psoriasis, and scabies; for male sexual problems, including erectile dysfunction.

INDICATIONS;

It is useful for arthritis conditions like pain, numbness on hands, and feet swelling.

It is useful for shoulder dislocation pain.

It is used to treat arthritis and rheumatic conditions like pain, numbness on hands and feet, swelling.

It acts as a good uterine tonic.

It is used to treat Ayurvedic postnatal care of mother and gynecological diseases.

It is used to treat lumbar and cervical spondylosis, dis prolaps,e, and disc herniations.

This is used as part of postpartum after-delivery care of the mother.

Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle, and joint pains.

Buristis trochanterica,

It is also effective against Vata diseases.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Take 5-10ml, before food or on empty stomach, once or twice a day, or as directed by a physician.
