KUNGILIYA VENNAI;

Kungiliya Vennai is a classical Siddha medicine in the Siddha system of medicine. It is used to treat internally in Leucorrhoea, Burning Micturition, and Abdominal Pain & Discomfort. It can be applied externally in Syphilitic Ulcers, highly effective in burns, ulcers, chancres, and carbuncles.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Shorea robusta - Kungiliyam - Anti-diarrhoeal, Anti-dysenteric, Anti-bacterial activity, Anti-microbial, Analgesic activity, Hyperlipidemic, Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-Diabetic, Immunomodulatory activity, Kairomonal activity, Wound healing activity, Anti-nociceptive activity, Anti-ulcer activity, Anti-pyretic.

Sesamum indicum - is mildly laxative, emollient, and demulcent. The seeds and fresh leaves may be used as a poultice. sesame oil for its anti-inflammatory properties, using it to treat joint inflammation, toothaches, and scrapes.

Tender coconut - Ilaneer - is rich in potassium and hence helps keep the kidneys healthy. It acts as a diuretic to flush extra water out of the body and also prevents kidney stones.

It is used to treat burning micturition[ Moothira Kiricharam], 

It is used to treat the burning sensation of the body[ Udal Yerichal], 

It is used to treat ulcers and burn,

It is used to treat external ulcers[Velli pun], 

It is used to treat the burning sensation of hands and feet[ Kaikal Yerichal],. 

It is used to treat leucorrhoea [ Vellai], 

It is used to treat Pitham [biliousness], 

It is used to treat dry skin 

It is used to treat piles and fistula.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Both internal and external uses.

Internal use; Take 3-6 gms with water after food twice a day, or as directed by the physician.

External use; Apply on the affected areas.
